Forever Young

First time I heard of "forever young" was when I was young. Young enough to be blind, to see what it was, or to contemplate this paradox. Too busy to taste what young means to us.

Look back, cum'on look back! What did we do 20 years ago? Joking, right? Joking on nonsense, right? heehee.

Chatting and gathering with friends, be always with friends. Be open to our real friends. Remember that everybody in Macau must have been on Monte de Guia (松山). Jogging or maybe just walking and waiting for breakfast downhill. What a beautiful sunny sunday morning!

As time slips away our environment changed. But see what Monte de Guia changed! Yes, it changed! But much or negative? No. Still more or less as before, as 20 years before. What changed is our mind.

Today, i am watching TV, some singing competition. The original brought from Taiwan and widely spread to TVB (超級巨聲) and ATV (亞洲星光大道).

Yeah, besides sports like badminton, swimming and jogging, I started my hobby on singing in my childhood. Say since I was im primary school. Thought it must be life-long hobby. When it stopped? Suddently stopped! I really can't remember. Oh yeah, probably when everyone of my age said that all the songs of the new generation are trash and meaningless and toneless. Maybe! I just remember that when Twins was borne the song was about strawberries, mangos, apples and oranges.

Hahaha...

Now I discover that all depends on what we think. The singing technique is different. No such vocal vibration today as what was praised to Jacky Cheong. It is new technique worldwide.

Ok, I know I know. It is because my mind was old not ME. After knowing that, I started loving singing song again. Not because of being afraid of falling behind but i just love it again.

Really glad to discover what "Forever Young" means now. My friends, if after reading this article please give some comments on it. I will very much appreciate.

Spend it or not spend it.

I was on my way to Portuguese class, on a bus. Standing besides me was my colleague.

"When will you get off from the bus?" I asked, probing where he was going, coz I knew he used to study Portuguese as well.

"Buying a book about twitter."
"Woo, so in!"
"Just ordering and only available next month."

"So where are you going? Same place as me probably!"

True! Same place but different course.

My colleague turned to other topic, "I am thinking to buy a new Digital Camera, Casio, whose battery can last for 1,000 photo shots." And he added, "It seems very wasteful! I've bought 5 years ago my present DC".

Haha, is it too wasteful?

Let date back to our childhood. We were happy coz we had a new pair of shoes. We were happy coz we had toufu curdle (Chinese dessert). Of course we were happy because of many different things, materials and IMmaterials. But materials doesn't matter? People say that we shouldn't pluge into materialism! It deteriates our souls.

I thought that too.

But life is here, time is scarce! If materials, of course not excessive, can put a smile in your face, in your heart, why hold back?

5 years a camera is not excessive. That's what I told him! Enjoy your life but no indulgence!

We are the one to manage our lives and help ourselves be happy, and sure not excessive! So go ahead and put a smile on your face.

starbuck's beauty

I don't know when I started loving coffee or say actually I probably not a coffee maniac. But why, loving starbuck? Don't know.

Loving travelling in europe. Needs reason or analysis? Loving its culture, the medieval arts, the nobel paintings and gorgeous sculptures, and the pure air, the relaxation. People have to work and must be busy. Don't confuse yourself coz nobody just staying in café and does nothing, even in every corner of the world. Yeah, everybody has pressure, on dealing with relationship, on earning ones life, on solving family problems. Don't confuse yourself. Everybody is busy.

Real coffee smell came to me when I was in Portugal. Expresso too strong! Galão too milky! What else... Everything takes time to adapt to and to appreciate.

Travelling to Australia, having a coffee by the sidewalk, so relaxed though not real, or say just an escape from reality. This is the bit we see in the beauty of the world. But not just that so don't miss it!

Startbuck brings up those feelings in the mind...and the episode in my eyes...

Yes, that´s why I go.
